Guest Policies and Procedures
Boarding Guests:
Please, provide written instructions and an inventory of belongings to facilitate less time in our lobby. We will be using ITD bedding, and we ask clients to not bring their own. Clients will also be asked to take their leashes home with them. We will call our Boarding clients should we have any additional questions.
Grooming Clients
In Lakewood, please use the Pet Spa Door, and check out in the grooming lobby. A hook and lead will be provided in the grooming vestibule for no-contact drop-offs. Please, securely shut each gate or door behind you to ensure the safety of our animal friends. Please, call from outside so that we may escort your dog to a suite as soon as possible; this will also allow you to discuss services with your Groomer.
In Mentor, a hook and lead will be provided in our main lobby vestibule for no-contact drop-offs. The Receptionist or Groomer will use our leash to escort your dog to the Pet Spa. Please, use the Pet Spa Window or call to give instructions and speak to a Groomer.
At this time, we are no longer offering walk-in nail trims at either location.
Our Facility:
Safety and cleanliness have always been a top priority for Inn The Doghouse, and our professional staff works hard to ensure all of our locations provide a fun and healthy environment for every visitor-whether they have four legs or two. Our playrooms, boarding suites, and grooming areas are cleaned throughout the day using veterinary-grade cleaning products.
Our exhaust and ventilation systems offer frequent air changes and segmented zones while maintaining a constant supply of fresh, clean air. Outside of the playrooms, our staff regularly cleans and sanitizes the offices, restrooms, staff common areas, and reception areas. We have a sanitation station with hand sanitizer, pet-friendly antibacterial wipes, plastic gloves, and hand soap at every sink.
